About LOQUM

Hello fellow human… Loqum is my solo project where I produce and share my proprietary blend of techno, footwork and jungle. I was originally born & raised in İstanbul, Turkey, and I'm now based mainly in Chicago, Illinois, USA. My music is mostly inspired by early childhood memories of video game soundtracks, with a backdrop of rhythms and melodies rooted in my hometown, and all the cultures and people who've passed there throughout history.
I'm a resident at two of Chicago's hardest working collectives, Club Hospitality & Mictlān. Together we throw dance parties, and push that raw, unrelenting Midwest sound. You really have to experience it to believe it… I try to perform outside of the city as much as I can, so if you like what you hear, let your local promoter know :)
